Vice President, Design & User Experience

About the role

The Vice President of Design & User Experience will lead the creation of intuitive, consistent product interactions across PointClickCare’s B2B healthcare technology portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, this role bridges Product, Engineering, and Design to drive a unified experience strategy, embed high standards of craft, and accelerate AI‑enabled product experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve guidelines for user experience and content, including AI‑enabled interactions.
• Champion UX quality initiatives, set success metrics, and measure impact on business outcomes.
• Standardize interaction patterns and grow adoption of the internal design system across products.
• Partner with Product and Engineering executives to align strategy, progress, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Outbound Product, Escalations, and Customer Success to translate user pain points into experience improvements.
• Build, lead, and develop high‑performing UX, content design, and research teams, establishing operating rhythms and performance expectations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in UX, content or product design within complex B2B technology environments.
• 5+ years leading multi‑disciplinary design and research organizations at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven executive‑level experience influencing product and engineering strategy.
• Strong understanding of user‑centered design, accessibility, and content clarity in regulated domains.
