Senior UX Researcher – 6 month contract

About the role

PointClickCare is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead strategic and tactical research for its Integrated Care portfolio. The role supports product teams from early discovery through delivery, providing actionable insights that shape user‑centered design and product decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product and UX Design to create discovery plans, select participants, and choose appropriate research methods.
• Lead end‑to‑end research activities, including recruitment, discussion guide development, facilitation, analysis, synthesis, and presentation of findings.
• Conduct user outreach, persona and journey mapping, and usability testing using unbiased, standardized practices.
• Translate research data into strategic recommendations for Product, Design, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, communicate research decisions to leadership, and provide project leadership to fellow researchers and designers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a UX researcher or in a similar customer‑focused research role.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, HCI, information systems, or a related field.
• Proven ability to design research strategies, develop discussion guides, select methodologies, conduct studies, and synthesize findings quickly.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills with a track record of turning user feedback into actionable insights.
• Ability to travel to customer sites up to four times per year.
