About the role
We are seeking an experienced dressmaker to join our boutique in Québec. The role involves creating custom garments, performing alterations, and handling fur accessories for our discerning clientele. You will work closely with customers to ensure perfect fit and style.
Key responsibilities
- Make made‑to‑measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.
- Fit, alter and repair garments as required.
- Make, alter or re‑style fur garments and accessories.
- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand.
- Select and modify commercial patterns to meet specifications and fit.
- Design patterns to match customer measurements.
- Mark, cut and sew fabric for finished products.
Required profile
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to distinguish between colours.
- Client‑focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, initiative and organized work habits.
- Reliability and a commitment to quality.
