Part-Time Balloon Artist Assistant – Training Provided

About the role

We are hiring a part‑time Balloon Artist Assistant to help produce sculptural balloon flower bouquets in our downtown Toronto studio. The role involves hands‑on production work with minimal customer interaction and includes on‑the‑job training.

Key responsibilities

• Inflate, twist and assemble latex balloons into flowers and bouquets following design specifications.
• Prepare materials, keep the workspace organized and ensure each piece meets quality standards.
• Package finished pieces for pickup or delivery and occasionally assist with local deliveries or display setups.
• Maintain confidentiality of designs, colour palettes and unreleased work.

Required profile

• Patient, detail‑oriented and comfortable performing repetitive hand movements.
• Able to work independently for several hours in a quiet studio and maintain reliable attendance.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and looking for a long‑term part‑time position.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $20 CAD plus 4 % vacation pay, paid bi‑weekly by direct deposit.
• Paid training for the first two weeks (up to 4 shifts per week, 4 hours each).
• Typical schedule of 16 hours per week (Wednesday‑Saturday, 4‑hour shifts) with optional extra shifts during peak seasons.
• Work in a private home studio located a short walk from Wellesley Station, Toronto.
