Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) - Seniors Living Retirement

About the role

S&R Seniors Living is looking for a part-time Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) for its Seniors Living villages in Chatham. You will work inside a resident's home, helping residents stay physically and emotionally well and supporting their families. Training and certification are provided so you can work safely and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medication to residents under the direction and orders of a Registered Practical Nurse
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and spend time with residents
• Complete point-of-care tasks specific to each resident you support
• Keep the resident's area clean and clutter-free
• Share resident updates with the care team
• Support team members in the home during themed days and help residents during meals

Required profile

• Knowledge of medication, such as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate, DSW certificate, or Pharmacist Assistant experience
• Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
