Tax Specialist – Hybrid, Toronto

About the role

Fuller Landau is seeking a Tax Specialist to join its Toronto office on a hybrid schedule. The successful candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of Canadian tax filings, supporting both internal teams and external clients while developing expertise in personal, corporate, trust, and sales tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare personal, corporate, trust, partnership, and sales tax returns, as well as foreign reporting forms.
• Conduct income‑tax and sales‑tax research for internal and client needs.
• Communicate with tax authorities, draft correspondence, and manage client discussions.
• Analyze facts, evaluate options, and produce clear, professional documentation for clients.
• Assist managers with tax planning for domestic and international income‑tax and sales‑tax issues.

Required profile

• University degree with an accounting focus; commitment to obtaining a CPA designation.
• Relevant co‑op or internship experience is considered an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CaseWare (asset).
• Experience using TaxPrep (asset).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, and Word.
