Energy Risk Manager for North America

About the role

E&C advises large international companies on electricity and natural gas risk management. The Energy Risk Manager analyses markets and provides proactive hedging advice to North American clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze global energy markets and assess implications for North American clients.
• Review ePoint‑generated hedge recommendations, decide on recommendations, and execute them using the hedge recommendation tool.
• Communicate market evolutions and recommendations to clients and consultants.
• Assist clients with administrative execution of fixing/unfixing decisions and evaluate OTC price quotes.
• Track activities in ePoint for data analysts and produce market analysis content for reports, white papers, blogs, videos, and podcasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, energy, business management or a related field.
• C1 level proficiency in English.
• Strong interest in energy markets and ability to stay motivated by market volatility.
• Well‑organized, accountable, able to work independently and make quick, calculated decisions.
• Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize data for clients and colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data analysis and synthesis.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English (C1 level).
