About the role
We are seeking a Finance Associate to support our finance operations at Sony Music Entertainment Canada. The role involves handling payroll, fixed assets, and various accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Compute fixed assets and depreciation.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare tax returns and various financial reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
- Proficiency in English (and French if required).
