Senior Accountant – Canada Tax

About the role

Bestax is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong expertise in Canadian taxation to join its international team. You will support a diverse client base across Canada and the UAE, ensuring compliance and delivering high‑quality tax services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns.
• Assist with GST/HST filings, payroll taxes and routine submissions.
• Support basic tax planning to reduce liabilities.
• Stay updated on Canadian tax rules and regulations.
• Review financial data for accurate tax calculations and handle tax notices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in Canadian taxation and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of CRA regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
