Staff Pharmacist – 0.70 FTE – Winnipeg

About the role

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join its Pharmacy team supporting adult inpatients at the Health Sciences Centre. Working under the Pharmacy Manager, you will help ensure safe and effective medication use for both in‑patient and out‑patient populations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services to hospital in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Perform pharmacotherapy monitoring, drug information provision, and education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address medication‑related needs.
• Travel to other WRHA sites as required.
• Maintain compliance with criminal record and abuse registry checks.

Required profile

• Entry‑to‑practice pharmacy degree from an accredited Canadian university (or equivalent).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Manitoba.
• Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred; residency completion preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible days, evenings and weekends and manage demanding schedules.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and related software.
• Familiarity with information systems technology.
