About the role
The Optical Technician will support daily operations of our mobile optical retail store in Winnipeg. This role combines inventory management, administrative duties and customer service to ensure a smooth workflow.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of optical equipment and supplies.
- Process files and paperwork related to prescriptions and orders.
- Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone handling and appointment booking.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Client‑focused attitude with reliable dependability.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and strong organization.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar optical or retail environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using MS Windows operating system.
- MS PowerPoint.
- MS Word.
