Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Long Term Care

About the role

This position focuses on acute inpatient and outpatient care within a long‑term care setting in Canada. You will deliver active treatment and coordinate care so patients can be discharged safely and promptly. The role spans emergency, intensive and urgent care environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide active treatment and necessary care to stabilize patients for discharge.
• Deliver services across emergency room, intensive care, and urgent care settings.

Required profile

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in acute care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
