About the role
We are looking for a results‑driven Site Operations Manager to lead our Vancouver manufacturing facility. The role oversees production, packaging and maintenance in a high‑speed, matrix environment while championing safety, food quality and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end production and packaging operations to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Own the annual operational budget, drive cost‑saving initiatives and monitor P&L performance.
- Lead a unionised workforce, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and fostering collaborative labour‑management relations.
- Set and track aggressive KPIs such as OEE, yield, labour efficiency and waste reduction.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to optimise processes and eliminate waste.
- Maintain world‑class Food Safety (SQF/BRC) and Occupational Health & Safety standards across all shifts.
Required profile
- University degree in Engineering, Business or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of senior operations or plant management experience, preferably in the Food/CPG sector.
- Proven success working in a matrix organisation and with a unionised workforce.
- Strong data‑driven decision‑making ability.
