Operations Supervisor - Weekend

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor will provide leadership to Production and Maintenance staff to achieve standards for safety, quality, cost, efficiency and productivity. The role also supports the Production Management Team in driving continuous improvement across plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all shift staff, plan workloads, develop production schedules and provide coaching and progressive discipline.
• Champion health and safety initiatives, proactively preventing accidents and near‑misses.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, GMPs and other food‑safety programs.
• Maintain production and maintenance preventive‑maintenance programs and generate daily efficiency reports.
• Validate production and CIP records and support lean manufacturing and process‑excellence projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑secondary education or 5 years related experience.
• At least 3 years supervisory experience in a HACCP‑regulated dairy, food or beverage processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP and food‑safety standards.
• Excellent decision‑making, problem‑solving and communication skills.
