Senior Associate Bilingual (EN/FR) – Tax, Private Clients

About the role

PwC Private is hiring a bilingual (English/French) Senior Associate in its Entrepreneurial & Private Business (EPB) Private Clients practice in Quebec City. The team advises private companies on audit, tax compliance and planning, covering the full life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity and transition. The role focuses on wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture and exit strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of a team solving complex business issues from strategy to execution.
• Contribute technical tax knowledge and support clients' tax needs.
• Manage and mentor junior tax professionals.
• Support English-speaking clients, colleagues and stakeholders, requiring fluency in both English and French.

Required profile

• CPA, CA or other relevant professional designation, with a Master's degree in Tax or completion of Levels I, II and III of the CPA.
• An in-depth tax course is necessary.
• Experience in an accounting firm.
• Proven leadership, strong business development and entrepreneurial skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments and mentor junior staff.
• Fluency in English and French.

Required skills

• Tax: corporate tax planning, direct tax, income tax provisions, capital gains tax, domestic restructuring.
• Accounting: financial statement analysis, account reconciliation, compliance oversight and support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

The salary range is $80,200 - $130,200, depending on skills, experience, qualifications and location. Eligible employees may also join variable incentive pay programs. The position follows the departure of a valued team member and is advertised until October 21, 2025.
