Restaurant Server

About the role

The Cliff House Restaurant is seeking enthusiastic servers to deliver memorable dining experiences for guests enjoying spectacular rainforest views. You will join a dynamic Food & Beverage team, providing full‑table service in a fast‑paced, outdoor‑indoor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders, run food, and buss tables for a la carte dining.
• Prepare and deliver food and beverages promptly, following wine service steps when required.
• Complete quality assurance checks and ensure proper food handling according to HACCP and Food Safe standards.
• Operate the restaurant POS system efficiently and handle cash‑out at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the dining area.
• Upsell menu items and promote Capilano Group brands.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of serving or hosting experience.
• Food Safe Level 1 certification and a current Serving It Right certificate.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and in varied weather conditions.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lb.
• Positive attitude, strong communication, and a desire to exceed guest expectations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems.
