Food Counter Attendant

About the role

The Food Counter Attendant works in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, serving customers at the counter and ensuring food items are prepared, packaged, and presented to high standards. You will join a team that values reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude while providing flexible shift options.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Load buspans and trays, and keep records of food quantities used.
• Package take‑out orders, portion, wrap, and finish simple food items.
• Prepare, heat, and finish menu items using manual and electrical appliances.
• Take customer orders at the counter or buffet tables.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work as a team player.
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
