Private Wealth Tax, Senior Associate (Bilingual FR/EN)

About the role

PwC Canada is hiring a bilingual (French and English) Senior Associate for its Private Wealth Tax practice in Quebec City. The role sits within the Entrepreneurial & Private Business (EPB) line of service and involves special Canadian tax projects such as corporate reorganizations, trust and estate planning and sales transactions. It follows the departure of a valued team member and offers a career within PwC Private, working in a multidisciplinary team from a company's inception through growth and transition.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop corporate restructuring plans, tax planning and tax strategies that meet clients' needs
• Take part in business sales, mergers and acquisitions
• Liaise with stakeholders such as clients, lawyers, accountants and the internal team
• Carry out special Canadian tax projects, including corporate reorganizations, trust and estate planning and sales transactions
• Conduct and document tax analyses
• Share technical knowledge and experience with team members at all levels

Required profile

• Master's degree in Tax, or Levels I, II and III of the CPA In-depth Tax Course, either in progress or complete
• Relevant experience in an accounting firm, law firm or another relevant organization
• Fluency in English, plus French, to support English-speaking clients, colleagues and stakeholders
• Team spirit, curiosity, leadership, rigour, strong customer service, organizational skills and clear communication of complex technical information

The salary range is $56,200 - $93,700, based on skills, experience, qualifications and location. Eligible employees may also join variable incentive pay programs. The position is open to work visa sponsorship.
