About the role
We are looking for a friendly and organized Pharmacy Cashier to join our locally owned store. You will be the first point of contact for customers picking up prescriptions and will help ensure a smooth, safe, and pleasant experience at the pharmacy counter.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers at the cash register, processing prescription orders and answering questions.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to deliver high‑quality service.
- Pack orders, prepare deliveries, and place supply orders for the laboratory.
- Maintain the register of expired medications and manage inventory of laboratory supplies.
- File prescriptions, manage archives, and handle incoming/outgoing faxes.
- Keep the pharmacy and laboratory area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Required profile
- Well‑organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
- Skilled multitasker who works proactively.
- Availability for three evenings per week, including days, evenings, and weekends.
