About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will join a multidisciplinary home‑care team in Wainwright, Alberta, delivering family‑focused nursing care across private homes, community housing, and supportive living facilities. This part‑time position (0.80 FTE) is ideal for independent, self‑driven professionals who enjoy varied clinical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on nursing care to a diverse client group in private residences, group housing, and supportive living settings.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team members to develop and implement patient‑centered care plans.
• Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making in daily practice.
• Adhere to applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures.
• Work flexible shifts, including days and weekends, following the established rotation.

Required profile

• Licensed Practical Nurse credential recognized in Alberta.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle for travel to client locations.
• Willingness to work part‑time schedule with days and weekend shifts.
