Pharmacy Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organized Pharmacy Cashier to join our locally owned store. You will be the first point of contact for customers picking up prescriptions and will help ensure a smooth, safe, and pleasant experience at the pharmacy counter.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers at the cash register, processing prescription orders and answering questions.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to deliver high‑quality service.
• Pack orders, prepare deliveries, and place supply orders for the laboratory.
• Maintain the register of expired medications and manage inventory of laboratory supplies.
• File prescriptions, manage archives, and handle incoming/outgoing faxes.
• Keep the pharmacy and laboratory area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Required profile

• Well‑organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
• Skilled multitasker who works proactively.
• Availability for three evenings per week, including days, evenings, and weekends.
