Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

About the role

Siemens is seeking a senior‑level Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to drive continuous improvement on the production floor. You will apply lean principles, optimise process flow and support new product introductions in a dynamic, technology‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and improve assembly production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen and other continuous improvement projects.
• Optimise production floor layout, material movement and space utilisation.
• Balance lines, reduce cycle times and enhance overall productivity.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and transition into full‑scale production.
• Monitor key metrics (productivity, quality, scrap, downtime) and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering, preferably in assembly environments.
• Proven track record of applying lean manufacturing tools and leading improvement projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
