Service Technician – Heavy Equipment Maintenance

About the role
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our Snow & Ice Canada team, supporting high‑performance snow removal equipment across North America. The role combines field service at customer sites with work in our Caledon service branch, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic control systems on mobile heavy equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance both on‑site and in the service shop.
- Conduct post‑repair inspections, calibrations, and functional testing before releasing equipment.
- Document all work, parts, and labor in internal digital systems and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Communicate technical findings and service recommendations clearly to customers.
- Respond to urgent service calls, especially during peak seasonal periods.
- Maintain a clean, fully equipped mobile service vehicle.
- Record labor hours, parts usage, and assist with warranty assessments.
- Track recurring field failures and share trends with engineering and product support teams.
Required profile
- Experience working with heavy‑equipment service or a related technical field.
- Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with service coordinators and parts teams.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

- Competitive salary ranging from $67,200 to $89,000 CAD per year.
