Leasing Professional – Property Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for one of its Edmonton communities. You will manage all leasing activities, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform leasing strategy.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns to generate traffic.
• Maintain accurate data in property management software (OneSite, Yardi) for availability, traffic, and resident information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple leasing tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local rental market conditions.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Proficiency in online marketing platforms (Craigslist, Facebook, email).
• Ability to conduct credit and background screenings.
