Tenant Account Coordinator

About the role

The Tenant Account Coordinator will manage a diverse portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties. This role focuses on the administration of accounts receivable, including cash receipt processing, collection calls, tenant statements, and updating collection notes in Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily bank statements and files, apply cash to tenant accounts, and handle NSF payments.
• Contact tenants regarding arrears, follow escalation guidelines, and maintain tenant contact information.
• Collaborate with Property Management on account reconciliations, rental notices, and PAD approvals.
• Attend monthly AR meetings, take minutes, track action items, and update Power BI collection notes.
• Coordinate with Revenue Accounting to resolve outstanding bank items and track bad‑debt write‑offs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of real‑estate property administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real‑estate documents and property‑management terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with JDE or equivalent property‑management software (Yardi, SAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Power BI for reporting.
• Basic real‑estate accounting principles.
• Accounts receivable processing.
