Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor delivers high‑quality assurance services within the Office of Enterprise Risk and Assurance, performing audits, financial investigations, advisory engagements, and risk management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engagements to evaluate internal controls and mitigate significant risks.
• Perform financial investigations, analyzing unusual activity and trends.
• Identify and assess emerging risks through data gathering and analysis.
• Execute audit test procedures, document evidence, and monitor implementation of recommendations.
• Develop data‑driven insights using analytics tools and emerging technologies such as AI.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline with at least two years of related experience.
• Completion of at least 7 of the 14 CPA academic prerequisites.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and solid judgment.
• Effective communication, critical thinking, and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced data analysis using Python, PowerBI, and Excel.
• Experience with AI‑enabled analytics tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of internal audit and risk management principles.
