About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Director to lead a multi‑billion‑dollar sourcing project for a major Canadian engineering organization. This hybrid role (three days onsite) will head a specialized procurement team, manage a massive annual spend, and drive a key strategic project.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute a multi‑billion‑dollar sourcing initiative.
- Build and manage a high‑performing procurement team from the ground up.
- Oversee large‑scale annual spend and ensure cost‑effective sourcing.
- Develop and deliver a strategic project critical to the company’s growth.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations stakeholders.
Required profile
- 10+ years of procurement experience.
- 3+ years in a Director or VP‑level leadership role.
- Project procurement experience in sectors such as construction, nuclear, EPCM, engineering, mining, oil & gas.
- Exceptional communication and strong team‑leadership abilities.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale spend.

- Competitive salary range $200,000 – $250,000 CAD.
