Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of commercial construction projects in Mississauga. The role involves managing budgets, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating all project activities to deliver high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects to meet scope, schedule, and client specifications.
• Monitor and manage project budgets with accurate cost reporting.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams, conducting regular meetings.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance.
• Inspect sites to guarantee work meets quality standards and client expectations.
• Maintain client communication, providing timely updates and resolving issues.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Secure required permits and ensure alignment with building codes and regulations.
• Use Procore to track project data, including reports, RFIs, and approvals.
• Mentor coordination teams and contribute to KPI development and organizational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and invoicing.
• Post‑secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management or related field (preferred).
• Certifications such as PMP or BCIN are an asset.
• Strong knowledge of construction financials, cost management, and CCDC contracts (especially CCDC 5B).
• In‑depth understanding of construction safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
