Construction Estimator

About the role

This full‑time on‑site position is for a Construction Estimator who will prepare and review estimates for a variety of construction projects. The role involves close coordination with the project management team and detailed analysis of construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate costing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and design proposals for management, including service calls and new projects.
• Identify and select qualified subcontractors, solicit competitive pricing, and conduct thorough analysis of tender drawings.
• Attend on‑site pre‑bid meetings, tender walks, and site visits.
• Develop detailed estimates for material, labour, equipment, sub‑contracts and construction facilities.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, and keep the Master Tender List up to date.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of construction estimating experience, preferably in a construction company.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, techniques, and ground‑up construction estimation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
