Data Research & Entry Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Research & Entry Specialist to support a partner company’s residential development data product across Canadian markets. The role is fully remote and contract‑based, offering flexibility while requiring high accuracy, consistency and timeliness in data collection and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and validate real‑estate development information from public sources, municipal planning documents and project websites.
• Conduct outbound phone calls and outreach to obtain missing or updated project data.
• Enter and maintain sales, permit and project details in proprietary databases.
• Cross‑reference multiple tools to verify data accuracy and ensure consistency.
• Track active development permits and monitor status changes across assigned markets.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of multi‑family housing projects, including launch timelines and milestones.

Required profile

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong research, organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to make phone calls and conduct information‑gathering outreach.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset within a distributed team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of CA$20.
