Real Estate Project Manager

About the role

Huawei Canada is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager for a 12‑month contract. The role sits within the Quality & Operation Department, supporting the company’s procurement, finance, IT and other critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of real‑estate projects, from lease involvement and design through implementation, completion and acceptance.
• Establish and lead a project delivery team, ensuring resources are allocated and released on schedule.
• Align project execution with customer requirements, control budget and schedule, and uphold quality standards.
• Identify, monitor and mitigate project risks, escalating major issues to sponsors and management as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of program management and delivery experience, preferably as the primary owner of large‑scale engineering projects.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal communication, goal orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with civil, electromechanical and decoration project specifications, and basic knowledge of contracts, procurement and subcontracting.
• Project Management certification and experience using PM tools such as Gantt charts and WBS.
