Customer Service Representative – Hybrid (Edmonton, AB)

About the role

Join OTIP Group of Companies as a Customer Service Representative working in a hybrid model from Edmonton. You will be the front‑line contact for members and clients, handling inquiries, processing changes, and ensuring a smooth insurance experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to telephone and written inquiries, process changes in the system, and apply underwriting standards.
• Resolve product and service issues, investigate complaints, and recommend solutions to management.
• Maintain insurance transaction records, update rate manuals, and flag contentious issues.
• Complete endorsements, renewals, rewrites, remarkets and cancellations as required.
• Review alternate market carrier renewals and provide supporting documentation.
• Coach and counsel service team members on market availability, rules and guidelines.
• Attract potential members/clients, answer product questions, and meet ex‑date objectives.
• Perform additional duties within competence as assigned.

Required profile

• Valid AIC license (Level 1) is mandatory.
• Minimum three years’ experience in personal lines, automobile and property insurance.
• Strong communication abilities to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving, time‑management and organizational skills.
