Crypto & Fiat Analyst – Alert Triage Investigator

About the role

Join a leading financial institution’s regulated crypto exchange platform as a Crypto & Fiat Analyst. You will act as the first line of defense, reviewing and investigating alerts across both fiat and cryptocurrency transactions while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform L1 alert triage and L2 investigations of complex cases, analyzing transaction data for suspicious activity.
• Assess credit data, evaluate financial risks, and conduct detailed analyses for crypto and fiat transactions.
• Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs/SARs) and execute AML, KYC, and EDD procedures.
• Utilize accounting, CRM, and ERP platforms to monitor financial processes, improve loan administration, and manage collections.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, and technology teams to streamline workflows and develop enhanced monitoring strategies.
• Create documentation, reports, and actionable insights for leadership and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Provide high‑touch customer service, addressing client inquiries promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in L1/L2 alert review and investigation within fiat and cryptocurrency environments.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations, KYC/EDD processes, and suspicious transaction reporting.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving abilities with keen attention to regulatory detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for presenting complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience thriving in regulated, fast‑moving, on‑site environments.

Required skills
