About the role

Manitoulin Transport, a North American transportation company with 65 years of experience, is hiring an Associate Sales Professional in Saskatoon. This is a transitionary position designed to lead to a role in Outside Sales and ongoing career development.

Key responsibilities

• Source and secure new customers
• Manage the current account base, including introducing new services and technologies
• Develop new opportunities through collaboration with field sales, targeted cold calls and competitive research
• Support the Sales Team and/or take part in regional or divisional initiatives
• Occasional travel and in-person sales meetings may be required

Required profile

• College or university graduate
• Results-oriented and self-motivated
• Strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience or knowledge of the transportation industry is an advantage
