Outside Sales Specialist - Roofing

About the role

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for exterior building supply covering roofing, siding, metal and building envelope, is looking for an enthusiastic, driven Outside Sales Specialist in Saskatoon. The role grows the business by developing relationships with contractors, architects and other customers and increasing sales of company products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of company products
• Grow new business and expand market share by offering solutions to current and future contractors, architects and customers
• Define, build, implement and monitor the sales plan, including strategies, targets and priorities
• Create action plans for sales targets and work with suppliers to execute them
• Educate customers and staff on products and manage customer sample and educational stock levels
• Manage customer payments and credit with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations and AR adjustments within set rules

Required profile

• College diploma or degree (Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3+ years of successful roofing sales experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
• Authorized to work in Canada

• Strong problem-solving ability, able to handle difficult situations
