Associate or Full Professor (Clinical) – Endocrinology Division

About the role

The Department of Medicine at McGill University seeks a full‑time Associate or Full Professor (Clinical) to lead the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Jewish General Hospital. This senior academic position is part of the Contract Academic Staff and does not carry tenure eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to advance the Division’s clinical, research, and teaching missions.
• Oversee and expand basic and clinical research programs in areas such as diabetes, lipids, genetics, epidemiology, bone biology, thyroid disease, pharmacoepidemiology, and androgen signaling.
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered endocrine care and supervise clinical teams.
• Mentor faculty, fellows, and trainees, fostering excellence in medical education.
• Collaborate with hospital and university leadership to secure resources and promote interdisciplinary initiatives.

Required profile

• Established academic record with significant contributions to basic and/or clinical endocrinology research.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in an academic medical environment.
• Strong reputation for clinical excellence in endocrinology and metabolism.
• Ability to articulate a clear vision for the Division’s future and inspire stakeholders.
