Accounting Manager – Canada Tax

About the role

Bestax is seeking an Accounting Manager specialized in Canadian tax to join its international team. You will handle corporate and personal tax filings, support GST/HST and payroll tax submissions, and ensure compliance with evolving Canadian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns.
• Assist with GST/HST filings, payroll taxes and other routine submissions.
• Support basic tax planning to reduce liabilities.
• Review financial data for accurate tax calculations and handle basic tax notices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in Canadian taxation and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Proficiency with Xero.
• Proficiency with CaseWare.
• Experience using TaxCycle or similar tax software.
