Recruitment Coordinator – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a people‑focused, organised Recruitment Coordinator to join our fast‑growing barber franchise in Kelowna. In this 12‑month contract you will act as the primary liaison between barbers and our stores, ensuring a smooth and engaging hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to candidate enquiries via phone, email and text.
• Conduct initial discovery calls to assess experience and availability.
• Match candidates to appropriate store locations and track outcomes.
• Maintain candidate engagement throughout the recruitment pipeline.
• Post job advertisements and keep candidate records up to date in our ATS.
• Build and nurture a candidate database using LinkedIn, Google, Workable and barber community channels.
• Source passive talent and initiate genuine conversations.
• Support outreach at social media, barber events, trade fairs and career days.

Required profile

• Warm, clear and confident communicator on the phone.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Self‑starter who follows through without needing reminders.
• Quick learner comfortable adopting new tools and systems.
• Positive, team‑first attitude.
