Program Manager, Organizational Development

About the role

The Program Manager, Organizational Development supports the design, delivery and continuous improvement of OD programs for the Faculty of Medicine at UBC. Reporting to the Senior HR and OD Manager and working under the Organizational Development Strategist, the role collaborates with planning teams, program sponsors and cross‑functional stakeholders to advance faculty‑wide priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development and day‑to‑day operation of organizational development and learning programs.
• Conduct research and stakeholder analysis to identify opportunities for program improvement.
• Design, implement and analyse evaluation tools to measure program effectiveness.
• Create standard operating procedures and project plans for events, learning sessions and program logistics.
• Develop, manage and reconcile program budgets and expenditures.
• Oversee online learning spaces, ensuring content relevance and accessibility.
• Provide participant support, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Coordinate marketing, communications and recruitment strategies, including digital content creation.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Two to three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, respecting diverse perspectives.
• Strong project management, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adapt style for varied audiences.
