Bookkeeping Assistant

About the role

SOS Physiotherapy is seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeping Assistant to support its multi‑location clinics. This part‑time role offers a blend of remote and on‑site work in Vancouver and provides an opportunity for new graduates to grow within a patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain chart of accounts, record journal entries, and process payroll and ROEs.
• Manage accounts receivable, supplier accounts payable, and customer invoicing.
• Handle bank and credit‑card feeds, expense allocations, prepaids, and cost‑share expense tracking.
• Prepare cooperative education subsidy claims and monthly reconciliations.
• Process government remittances and returns (payroll, HST, EHT, T4s).
• Assist with fiscal year‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Online Payroll.
• Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks with professionalism, accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with clinic owners, the Bookkeeping Manager, and external parties.
• Open to new graduates and candidates eager to develop their accounting expertise.
