Senior Accountant, Forensic Accounting

About the role

Our London, ON office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join MDD, a Davies Company, a global forensic accounting firm. The role focuses on forensic investigations, business valuations and litigation support, providing analytical insight into complex financial disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data.
• Observe physical inventories, conduct price testing and examine source documents.
• Prepare and proof reports, schedules and draft narrative findings.
• Conduct phone, video or in‑person interviews to gather information.
• Analyze and reconcile claims to final calculations, including invoice and data analysis.
• Research, evaluate data and support marketing events with clients.

Required profile

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or near completion.
• Minimum two years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Interest in pursuing a secondary designation such as CBV.
• Willingness to assume increasing responsibility.
