Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Financial Analyst to lead FP&A activities and drive automation within a fast‑growing generic pharmaceutical company. The role blends traditional financial planning with data‑driven process improvement, supporting cross‑functional teams to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts and long‑range planning cycles.
• Prepare monthly financial packages, variance analysis and management reports.
• Analyse revenue, gross margin and cost drivers across product portfolios.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital analysis and inventory reconciliation in SAP.
• Partner with Commercial and Sales teams on pricing, rebates, GTN reconciliation and customer profitability.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Implement planning and budgeting tools, finance‑system transformation projects and automation solutions (Power BI, Power Query, Excel VBA, Python).
• Develop dashboards and visualisation tools for leadership reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA in progress.
• 3‑6 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance or corporate finance, preferably in pharma or life‑sciences.
• Experience in small‑to‑mid‑size or entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain and IT.

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• SAP and EPM tools.
• Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
• Power Query and SQL.
• Python and Excel VBA for automation.
