About the role
The Manager, Pension Data & Employer Services leads the governance and operational management of employer and member data within OPTrust’s pension administration framework. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees a team responsible for employer onboarding, data submissions, contribution reconciliation and issue resolution while ensuring a seamless experience for participating employers.
Key responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end employer data governance, including collection, validation, reconciliation and data‑quality frameworks.
- Lead employer onboarding, ongoing data submissions and contribution reconciliation processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with participating employers and act as the primary point of contact for data‑related issues.
- Drive employer training and change‑management initiatives to support system enhancements and adoption of new processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to advance AI and data‑analytics capabilities for improved decision‑making and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate operational risk.
Required profile
- Proven experience in data management within pension, financial services or a related sector.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing a team and delivering results.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on data quality and governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting pension data.
- Ability to lead change‑management initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
