About the role

Join COBS Bread as a Sales Assistant and become the friendly face of our bakery. This part‑time position offers a supportive environment where you will help customers enjoy fresh baked goods while learning basic baking techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with regular patrons.
• Merchandise products, set up displays, and execute marketing campaigns.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery workspace.
• Assist with simple baking tasks and production as needed.
• Handle cash, credit and debit transactions accurately.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a friendly demeanor.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and eager to learn new skills.
• Team player who enjoys working with people.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 22 kg and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

• Cash handling and point‑of‑sale transaction experience (preferred but not mandatory).
