About the role
Crowe Soberman LLP, a leading independent chartered accounting firm in Canada, is offering a Winter 2027 Tax Co‑op from January to April. The 4‑month program provides CPA students with hands‑on exposure to corporate and personal tax work, allowing them to experience the day‑to‑day responsibilities of a tax professional and explore career growth within the firm. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week on‑site in Toronto.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in a broad range of tax‑related analysis, research, assessment and quantification tasks.
- Assist senior staff on corporate tax initiatives and support the preparation of tax filings.
- Gain exposure to both corporate and personal tax matters, including T4, T5, partnership and trust filings.
- Prepare additional tax filings such as T4s/T5s, partnerships and trusts.
- Report directly to a Partner or Manager, receiving mentorship and feedback.
Required profile
- Enrolment in an accounting co‑op university program.
- High level of intellectual curiosity and a positive, energetic attitude.
- Strong technical foundation in accounting‑related coursework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
