Window Treatment Sales & Design Consultant (GTA, York Region)

About the role

Linen Chest offers a shop-at-home service that guides homeowners through their window covering needs, from concept to ordering and installation. It is hiring full-time and part-time Window Treatment Sales & Design Consultants in the GTA, York Region, Newmarket, Barrie, East Toronto, Pickering and Ajax. The consultant works in their own territory, visiting customers and offering expert advice while using digital selling tools.

Key responsibilities

• Make phone calls and create and develop sales presentations for prospective customers, in person and virtually.
• Plan and organize the personal sales strategy to maximize conversion and return on investment for the territory.
• Help customers choose colour, style, texture and functionality of window coverings.
• Return calls from customers and administration with a high sense of urgency.
• Use a system to manage contacts, appointments and priorities.
• Learn new product lines and processes quickly, and work independently.
• Develop business and look for new sales opportunities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or some college coursework preferred.
• In-home or outside sales experience, preferably in custom products or virtual selling.
• Valid driver's licence, reliable transportation and insurance coverage.
• Ability to work independently and to learn new technology and systems.
