Vice President of Finance

About the role

Edgecom Energy is seeking its first Vice President of Finance to build and lead the FP&A and strategic finance function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the company’s forward‑looking financial operating system and prepare the business for Series B fundraising.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the company operating model, including revenue by product and market, headcount, OPEX, and cash.
• Lead the annual operating plan, budget, and monthly burn forecasting in partnership with the Controller and CEO.
• Produce fully loaded per‑product P&L and unit‑economics analyses to guide roadmap and resource decisions.
• Own revenue forecasting, ARR reporting, and revenue recognition across SaaS, demand‑response settlements, program payments, and hardware.
• Maintain an 18‑month rolling cash forecast, set FX policy, and report runway to leadership and the board.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in high‑growth SaaS or energy‑tech companies.
• Demonstrated ability to build FP&A functions from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of complex revenue mechanics, multi‑currency flows, and ARR reporting.
• Experience working directly with CEOs and board members.
