Traveling Merchandiser

About the role

Core-Mark, a leading North‑American convenience‑store goods distributor, is seeking a Traveling Merchandiser for its Calgary territory. You will drive to customer locations, set merchandise according to plan‑ograms, and help maximise sales and product freshness.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores using your own vehicle, place products on shelves following plan‑ograms and SmartStock program guidelines.
• Identify out‑of‑stock items, ensure product freshness, and recommend replacement items to boost sales.
• Maintain a detailed call routine and communicate weekly with the Sales Account Manager for program updates.
• Execute merchandising activities, price and label products correctly, and spot display opportunities.
• Report critical issues promptly and assist customers with any concerns.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance.
• Ability to read and follow store plan‑ograms and merchandising instructions.
• Effective communication skills and basic computer literacy.
