Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Calgary office. The role combines technical knowledge with sales expertise to deliver tailored solutions to clients in the digital media and electronic equipment sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate price quotes, credit terms, warranties and delivery schedules for client proposals.
• Identify new business opportunities, solicit potential clients and promote sales to existing accounts.
• Develop and manage sales contracts, oversee order preparation and ensure timely delivery.
• Use sales‑forecasting and ERP tools to track pipeline, generate reports and support product design customization.
• Provide post‑sale support, troubleshoot equipment issues and deliver ongoing client training.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience, with 2‑3 years of technical sales background.
• Strong client focus, excellent oral and written communication, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin or Cantonese considered an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Familiarity with sales‑forecasting applications.
