Store Manager – Electric Bike Retail

About the role

EBike Calgary & Cycle Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, grow sales, and deliver excellent customer service. You will help expand the store’s presence while ensuring a high‑quality experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations, including opening, closing, staff scheduling, and sales‑floor coverage.
• Assist customers in comparing electric bikes, explaining features, and selecting the right bike and accessories.
• Conduct product demonstrations and test rides.
• Follow up on inquiries, prepare quotes, and convert interest into sales.
• Manage inventory accuracy, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and showroom presentation.
• Coach and motivate staff to meet sales goals and provide knowledgeable service.
• Coordinate with service technicians on bike assembly, repairs, warranty matters, and deliveries.
• Resolve customer concerns and maintain strong post‑sale relationships.
• Build business through trade shows, community events, and partnerships.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to foster a motivated sales environment.
• Oversee Lightspeed POS, cash handling, ordering, inventory and administrative tasks.
• Develop marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers.
• Meet or exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail management or store supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in merchandising, pricing, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Proficiency with Lightspeed POS systems, cash handling and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of sales management techniques and customer service excellence.
• Ability to manage budgets and handle time effectively.
